Soil Analyses for GRT’s Aggregate Outputs
As a fairly new company offering a very new solution to the market, we naturally get asked a lot of questions about our process. And, rightly so! Specifically, we are often asked how we manage the QAQC process of our output products, considering the fluctuating conditions of the materials we accept.
As part of the GRT Duke Point Resource Regeneration Facility quality assurance program, approximately one sample is collected from each 100 - 200 m3 of clean sand output and submitted to a certified laboratory for the analysis of potential chemicals of concern. The analytical results are then compared to the most stringent of the applicable BC CSR land use standards for all pathways.
The most recent analytical results comparison showed that the clean output sand currently on Site meets the most stringent of the BC CSR Agricultural Land Use Standards. In addition, once every three months, or when our screening process changes, GRT collects a sample of the clean sand output for grain size analysis.
Please call us to secure your output quantity in advance; we’ll have it ready for your scheduled pick up. The outgoing clean output quantity will be billed according to a weigh scale measurement taken at the GRT Duke Point Facility gate on departure.
